Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from distributors, procurement managers, and engineers.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

MOQ varies by bearing type and size. For standard catalog items, typical MOQ is 50-100 pieces. For rolling mill bearings, MOQ can be as low as 1-2 pieces due to the high unit value. For non-standard or customized bearings, please contact our sales team for specific quantities.

What are your standard lead times?

Standard catalog bearings: 2-4 weeks from order confirmation. Rolling mill bearings (four-row tapered, four-row cylindrical, backing bearings): 4-6 weeks for standard sizes, 6-10 weeks for non-standard or large-bore sizes. Express delivery can be arranged for urgent mill shutdown situations.

Do you provide OEM/ODM services?

Yes. We offer custom branding, specific packaging, and bearing modifications including non-standard dimensions, special materials, coatings, and clearance configurations. For rolling mill bearings, we can manufacture to your specific drawing or provide interchangeable replacements for existing mill bearings.

What certifications do your bearings carry?

Our manufacturing facility is ISO 9001:2015 certified. Products conform to ISO, JIS, ABEC, and DIN dimensional and tolerance standards. We provide Certificates of Conformity with every shipment.

What payment terms do you accept?

We accept T/T (wire transfer), L/C (letter of credit), and Western Union. Standard terms: 30% deposit upon order confirmation, 70% balance against copy of B/L.

How is the bearing quality compared to known brands?

Our bearings are manufactured from the same grade of bearing steel (GCr15/AISI 52100) used by major international brands. We follow the same ISO dimensional and tolerance standards. Our rolling mill bearings provide interchangeable size and performance benchmarking solutions for equivalent products from leading manufacturers. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Can you provide bearing samples?

Yes. We provide samples for testing and evaluation. Standard catalog items can typically ship within 5-7 business days. Sample costs are usually applied to the first production order.

What export packaging do you use?

Bearings are individually wrapped with anti-rust paper and VCI film, then packed in industrial cartons or wooden cases suitable for ocean freight. Rolling mill bearings receive additional heavy-duty packaging with wooden crates and moisture barriers. Custom packaging available.

What types of rolling mill bearings do you manufacture?

We manufacture four-row tapered roller bearings, four-row cylindrical roller bearings, and backing bearings (Sendzimir type) for rolling mill applications. These bearings are used in work roll and backup roll chock assemblies across hot strip mills, cold rolling mills, plate mills, section mills, and bar & wire rod mills.

What is the difference between a bearing block, bearing housing, and bearing chock?

A bearing block (or bearing housing) is the structural component that holds the bearing in place and provides a mounting interface. A bearing chock is the complete assembly that slides within the mill stand window — it includes the bearing block, the bearing itself, and typically sealing and lubrication systems. In rolling mill terminology, the chock is the unit that sits in the mill stand and transmits rolling forces from the roll through the bearing to the mill housing.

Can your four-row tapered roller bearings replace SKF or Timken equivalents?

Yes. Our four-row tapered roller bearings are manufactured to the same dimensional standards and load ratings as equivalent bearings from major international manufacturers. We provide interchangeable size and performance benchmarking solutions for direct replacement in existing mill stand chock assemblies. All trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners.

What clearance should I specify for hot rolling mill bearings?

Hot rolling mill bearings typically require C3 or C4 internal clearance to account for thermal expansion at operating temperatures of 80-150°C. The exact clearance depends on bearing size, shaft interference fit, and operating temperature. Our engineering team can provide specific clearance recommendations based on your operating conditions.

Do you supply complete rolling mill bearing assemblies?

Yes. We can supply bearings individually or as complete rolling mill bearing assemblies including the bearing, bearing block (housing), and bearing chock, pre-assembled and ready for installation in your mill stand. This simplifies procurement and ensures proper bearing-to-housing fit.

What is the price of rolling mill bearings?

Rolling mill bearing pricing depends on type (four-row tapered, four-row cylindrical, backing bearing), size, precision grade, and order quantity. As a factory-direct manufacturer, we offer competitive pricing compared to trading companies and distributors. Contact us with your bearing model number or drawing for a specific quotation — we respond within 24 hours.

How do I choose between four-row cylindrical and four-row tapered roller bearings for my rolling mill?

Four-row cylindrical roller bearings provide maximum radial load capacity and are ideal for mill stands where axial loads are minimal or handled by separate thrust bearings. Four-row tapered roller bearings handle both radial and significant axial thrust loads simultaneously in a single bearing, making them suitable for mill stands with axial positioning requirements. Our engineers can help you determine the optimal type based on your specific load conditions, speed, and mill configuration.

Do you ship rolling mill bearings to India?

Yes. We export rolling mill bearings to steel mills and bearing distributors across India, including major steel-producing regions. We offer FOB, CIF, and DDP delivery terms to all Indian ports. Our bearings are used in hot rolling mill bearing stands, cold rolling mills, and plate mills throughout India's steel industry.
